As spring training moves on, I move on to two other stadiums to be.
Here is the new Mets stadium (Citi Field):

Then there is the new Yankees stadium (still called Yankees stadium):
which you can see more of here or here (this link now seems to be dead).
Both stadiums are scheduled to open in 2009. It’s not obvious from these pictures, but I find the new Yankees better looking as a whole. Of course, the old Yankee stadium is much better than Shea and I think the new Mets stadium is a big improvement over Shea. What do you think?

4/3/2009 Update: The Yankees play their first game in their new stadium today. The New York Times has a moving view of the new stadium from the inside here. The Mets also play their first game in their new stadium today and the Times also has a view of its inside. You can also read one of their many stories (this one talks about the architecture and has links to a bunch of other stories). They also have static photos from multiple angles (Mets and Yankees).
